Todays word comes from our bible study we had last night with our Marriage couples. Do you “really” know what love is? First we look to the cross for real love and then we look to 1 Corinthians to define what love is.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

When we truly look at what God did for us sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins looking at 1 Corinthians should be easy for us. Staying in the word every day and building your relationship with Jesus Christ you will see that 1 Corinthians will become easier and easier to love like Jesus loves us.

So the next time you get upset at your children or your spouse does something to get all of your nerves remember what God did for us and practice to love unconditionally. We dont deserve to be saved but by the grace of God we are saved so glorify Him by practicing to love all like Jesus loves us.

Be blessed and serve with Joy,
Sonya
