Seeking Righteousness Above All

Today has been a great day. The Lord has been woeing me all day today. It is such a blessing to be able to see Him work in our lives in the smallest way.

My husband is about to retire in 2 years and we always say we are gonna do this and we are gonna do that, however that is not always the case. The closer we get to the Lord, He has other plans for us.

My husband loves coaching baseball and he amazing with kids. He assisted coached at my son Wade’s school team this year and they only lost 2 games to only winning 2 games the year before. My husband has crossed pathes with a man that has a dream of building fields with our new school and needs a young person who knows baseball to make this dream come true. Guess who he asked? Yep that is right my husband.

When I heard them talking today I told my hubby later, you know what the Lord is doing here dont you? He brought us to this school for so much more then we even know. He is alining you with people that can help you and you help them making it a win win situation for the kids and the athletic department.

This scripture fits what the Lord is doing in our lives when we seek Him first in all we do. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV

This leaves me with how much do we seek God in our daily walks? Do we seek Him all the time or just when we feel like it? He has so much to share with us when we take the time to notice Him through out our days. Proverbs 21:21 says “He who pursues righteousness and loyalty, Finds life, righteousness and honor.” How can we go wrong when we seek God first.

Have a blessed weekend friends!
