Come on over to Good Morning Girls and link up with us for Women in the Word Wednesday. Every Wednesday we share what we are learning with our walk with God. He is amazing and works through every post that is posted.

This is my first week to join he link up. I pray that you will join us.

I am in a study group with some friends from my hair shop. We are studying Beth Moore’s “Revelation”. Last week we studied Revelation 2 -3. If you have not checked Beth Moore out please take a moment to look at the video for her study.

No matter how many times you hear about the end of times you learn a little more about it with every teaching. Beth is amazing at really painting the picture of what God is telling us.

This week we are in Revelation 4-5.
These two books are meant to be viewed as one cohesive whole with an unfolding scene of unsurpassed drama.

John description of the Throne just blows me away. There is no description of God himself only that which surrounds Him and His right hand. That is amazing to know that He is so amazing that we have to be dead to see Him. We will know when we are in His presence.

That only the one who sits at the right hand of God is worthy to open the scroll. I learned that the scroll is “Title Deed” to the planet earth. The purpose of the scroll of destiny is not so that it can be read but so that the last days events can “Begin to Take Place”.

Rev 5:1-4 Why does the scroll demand worthiness?
This individual will perform the supreme service of bringing “History” to is foreordained consummation. How amazing is that?

Rev 5:5-10 Why does the4 Lamb appear as slain?
To depict the singular means of victory
To tie the Passover Lamb to the coming plagues

Why does the consituie such a huge moment?
It is the beginning of a new era ushered in by a divine coronation. It depicts the mediator’s investiture with the office of the King over the universe.

I know that I am relieved to know that there is someone worthy to open the scroll to the earth so that history can begin to take place and we can spend eternity with God. To know that God sits in His Throne until He comes back to earth for us is also comforting.

Have a blessed week and can not wait to share with you what next week brings.

Serving With Joy,

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
