I became a Creative Memories Photo Solution Specialist this passed summer because I LOVE to preserve memories and help others around me do the same. Today starts Project 365 Fridays Blog Hop.

What is Project 365 Fridays Blog Hop?
Its where we document a year of your life by taking a photo a day and sharing them here every single Friday!
I started this last year and will post my finished project soon. It is so fun to go back and see the places you have been, people you have met, moments that you captured, events you went and so much more. The funniest thing is it helps you take better photo’s because taking a photo every single day is not as easy as one might think.

Here are 6 tips to creating your own Project 365:

1. Take your camera with you EVERYWHERE
I take mine with me in my purse every where I go because I never know when a picture, place, moment can be added to my project. Keep your camera with you like its a baby, take care of and don’t let it out of your site 🙂

2. Make posting your photo’s easy
Everyone loves looking at pictures especially of other people. Post your work on Facebook with a folder name Project 365 2011, share it with a photo group to help others with ideas and to see others projects. Making uploading easy and fun will get you in the mood to do it everyday
3. Try a Theme
Try capturing the day’s events in a single photo. Play around with different photo’s through out the day. Take a photo of how your day started out, a new place you have never been, something that made you smile, something that captures your eye. Most of all take crazy and funny pictures of yourself so you can see all the changes you went through throughout the year.
4. Tell the Story
Explain what is happening in each day’s pictures. This is so you dont forget and and it gives friends following along a better appreciation of why you took the photo you did.
5. Don’t give up, NO matter what
This tip is VERY important because after awhile you will want to stop taking photo’s every day however the end result is so worth all the time you put into it that once you get through the first year you won’t be able to wait till the next year’s project. You might even think there is nothing else to take a photo of, dig deep there is always a photo to be taken. Entering into a contest might be something that keeps you motivated for the first year.
6. Post everyday or once a week
This part can get overwhelming if you let it get backed up too far. I suggest posting daily or weekly, making it fun and easy by spending the time up front to get them posted daily or weekly.

How this works is you take a photo every single day and post them every single Friday, at the end of the week turn them into a project digitally or traditionally. If you are not a Fan of my Fan Page, Juggling Jpegs click here to join. Prizes will be giving away weekly to the best Photo of the week and the best project.
