Proverbs 6:20-22: “Keep your father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. Bind them upon your heart forever, fasten them around your neck.” What are you teaching your children? Think twice before deviating from God’s word – may their hearts be filled with a true love for God and may they wear it around their neck – never being ashamed!”

This was very convicting for me this morning, specially “Think twice before deviating from God’s word”. That shows a woman who fears the Lord. Her steps are seeking God first before she moves. Her goal is to always glorify God first then let her action go forward.

I wonder how often do I get 2 steps ahead of God?
That I dont think twice before deviating from God’s word?
That I dont fear the Lord enough?

When I see my kids having a serving heart, or saying sorry followed by will you forgive me, saying sorry to my husband in front of my kids, when I go the extra mile to show them that each are special and God loves them very much, when you see your children hanging on every word and move you make, when your children take time out to serve God?

You know that you fall and get you right back up. That your kids see you fall and get back up, most of all you see that you DO fear the Lord and that most of the time you are two steps behind Him and that you do deviate sometimes however not for long. You know when you have taken your eyes off of God. That is grace and I am so blessed that He shares that with me daily so that I may fear Him more, seek Him more, and most of all get back up when I fall!

Have a blessed day fearing the Lord, thinking twice before you deviate, and most of all getting up when you fall!!
