Does Your Life Reflect Christ Part 2

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Does Your Life Reflect Christ because in my own struggle with people calling themselves Christians, their walks were not alining up with scripture. They were saying they were Christians however their walk did not show that at all.

I ask the question “Does your life reflect Christ in your home, in your marriage, in your parenting,  in everything you do?”

This was a very convicting post for me because I wanted to look at myself and family to see, do we stick out in the crowd or do we just blend in like everyone else who calls themselves “Christians”? When people see us, do they see Jesus Christ?

Walking with Jesus is a 24/7, 365 days process. There is no taking a break. Everyday we struggle with the flesh. There are times that we want to give up however for me,  I’m stopped in my tracks to look right at the cross and no there is NO way that I can give up because God didnt give up on me!

I heard a great sermon today by Paul Washer. I have never heard of him till today. He left me challenged and ready to make sure that myself & family are standing out in the crowd, that we are NOT blending in!

Here is some of his words that left me knowing that I am a child of the most high:

“If you are a genuinely a born again Christian, a child of God, you will walk in the way of righteousness, as a style of life, if you step off that path of righteousness, the Father will come for you, He will discipline you, He would put you back on that path. But if you have process to have gone through that narrow gate and yet you life in the broad way, like everyone in the world, the bible tells us to be afraid because we dont really know who God is” ~Paul Washer

I will be honest I have tried to get upset at something, raise my voice at my kids or husband, just basically try to do something ugly and the Holy Spirit nudges me quickly to remind me that I am not walking in the spirit. I love that however sometimes I am burdened by this world and what all that is going on in it but I always hold fast to my Maker!

“One of the principle signs of being a “Genuine Christian” is that we walk in the NARROW way!” ~Paul Washer

Since taking the step to have faith in Jesus Christ my life has been in the process of being changed all the time, when we step off His path God comes along and puts us back on His path.  God doesnt let you do anything that is unholy. He points it out to you quickly. He doesnt let you talk the way your flesh wants to talk. He doesnt let you dress the way the way the world says you can dress, He doesnt let you act like the world, smell like the world. HE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE ALWAYS!!!

2 Corinthians 13:5 ” Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?”

I dont want to blend in, I want to stick out. I want to follow Jesus Christ!!!

Do you want to BLEND in or STICK out?
Proclaim it here!!!
