Good Morning sisters. I hope that your weekend was blessed and you took time out to remember 9/11 in praying for the families.

For us it was a little different.

In walking with Christ, He gives us a new set of eyes and understanding to situations that was not there before. My youngest son is 8 and was not born when 9/11 took place however he heard some of his friends talking about it and heard some things on the radio. Because my son is more mature then most 8 year olds, I sat down with him and explained and showed him pic and videos of what happen that Sep day.

In the mist of watching documentaries on 9/11 all weekend there was something MORE important that crossed our minds:

As I dig deeper into what happen my heart starts to ache , that the focus is on the terrorist that done this to our country. It reminds me of Adam and Eve after they had eaten the forbidden fruit, when the Lord ask them what they had done and why they thought they were naked? Adam blamed the women that God gave him and then Eve blamed the snake.

When do we stop and just take responsibility for what WE did, own it and ask God to forgive it, to then move forward? Why do we want to blame it on something or someone else?

Bad things happens because of SIN! That is the bottom line.
