Thanks to PR by the Book I have an extra copy of the “Walking Into Walls” by Stephen Arterbrun to giveaway to one special reader.

Stephen talks about 5 blind spots that are key factors that block God’s work in our lives.

  • Stubborn Resistance
  • Arrogant Entitlement
  • Justifiable Resentment
  • Disconnected Isolation
  • Blind Ignorance

He breaks down each blind spot and then show us how to overcome them. We are all walking around running into walls that are holding us back. These walls block

  • Growth
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Happiness
  • Over all Contentment

Hiding behind these walls and not facing our attitudes  and behaviors head on, causes us to repeat walking into the same walls over and over again and God  being able to work in our lives.

My thoughts:

The Lord always knows what I need when I need it that is forsure. This book carries life changing information along with deepness in taking a look at yourself and digging deep to face these walls that we hind behind head on.  This book helped me to take a hard long look at the walls that I have and how I can get out from behind them.

Being honest with God and myself really helps to break the walls down. When we confess to the Lord, He is faithful and just to forgive. If we hide behind our walls and dont confess, how can He be faithful and just? The biggest question I was left with is “How did I get to this point in my walk?”

Stephen provided awesome information into each wall that when we take a long hard look at our hearts we can point these walls out quickly. I loved how Stephen used personal stories to really help us relate and scripture to point out what God says about each wall.

I would gladly recommend this book and was personally touched by Stephen words and encouragement to take a long look at yourself so that you can get out from behind walls so that God can work in your life.
