Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual favor, serving the Lord” ~Romans 12:11

This week I will have to say was a blessing. My husband was off this week so everyday was a date night, really. We got some things done around the house together and even sat down and done some talking.

We did head out to the movies to see the much anticipated movie “Courageous” on Friday with some friends and we did take the kids however we still connected and had a blast of a time. I love how the Lord moved this week. I can see the Godly man coming to the surface every single day.

Staying intentional in our marriages is the way to get back to basics. “Things” can take over fast, however making our marriage a priority is what God wants for us.

Pray over this challenge in your marriage that the Lord will give you ways to date your husband, that He will provide the open time to invest every week, that He draws you both closer in a way that was not there before, most of all that He show the children how important “a marriage” is in taking time out to reconnect.
