Good Morning sisters!

How did YOUR week go in Dating Your Spouse and what did you do?

I will say that my week was terrible. Just cant seem to get it together. My husband has switched to a new unit and comes home so late there is just NO time to do much. Our whole weekend was packed doing good for someone else however NO time again to get together.

I do believe the enemy is working over time as I am in prayer that the Lord will open up the time needed to be intentional in our marriage.

We did attend Bible Study together last Monday. Which was a nice time with other adults.

Working HARD in our marriages is what it is all about. It was not suppose to be easy.

Here are a few tips to insure we can be intentional even if there is NO time:

1. Make time to talk
This will bring a great connection even if it is for 10 min. Making the time is the key

2. Go out for ice cream
That is not expensive and give you some time to catch up from the week

3. Do something that he would love to do
Surprising him with something he will like will always get his attention

4. Text him with some encouragement
Letting him know how much he means to you brings out his confidence

5. Email him for his eyes only email
This will get his attention in preparing for what is to come when he gets home

6. Meet him at the door when he arrives
This will forsure give you both a few minutes alone when he arrives

What other little things can you think of to be intentional? Please share!
Keep the mine set that our marriage is an investment that God has intrusted us with. Seek Him in through the ups and downs. Through Him we can do anything, without Him we can nothing!
