“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these

things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

As I sit here praying over this challenge and how the Lord will draw YOU closer to Him, I pray that through this challenge He will draw ME closer to.  As I prayed about what to start this challenge off with, the Lord kept bringing me back to “blessings in disguise”. I prayed more to see just how He wanted me to go with this. This is what He came up with.

When you sit around and think about trials and hard times you sure don’t think about wanting to be “thankful” in going through them, however when we dig deeper into the trial or storm there is always a  blessing to be found.

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
James 1:2-4

While I am praising God for blessing in disguise I seek to want to get closer to Him when I am going through a trials or storms. When we truly grasps that the Lord really does have our path all planned out, when the trials and storms come, it does make it easier to be thankful for them. It can give us a sense of peace that knowing He has something better to come.
Talking out loud to God through trials and storms can bring a peace and know that He is near. Pouring our heart to Him, trusting Him, handing over our lives to Him, He will reveal blessings that other wise we would have not  been able to see.
Thank Him & Praise Him when you are going through trials and storms, letting Him know that we TRUST Him fully with out lives we can see all the blessings in disguise that He has for us!
