If you have not heard of this amazing company I would encourage you to stop by Regina’s website and check out some unique blends of business and ministry with exclusive home decor items and gifts created to encourage hearts, build relationships, and bring beauty to the place you live.

Regina contacted me and ask me if I would consider doing a review on the book “One Thousand Gifts” and the “1000 Gifts Journal” by Ann VosKamp. I was humbled to do so and very excited  because I am always up for a challenge in my walk with God. Needless to say what I was in store for.

 Here are my thoughts.

If you have not met Ann or take a moment to pick up this book, PLEASE do so. This book will change the way you look at everything around you. One of the best things I love about this book is that Ann truly inspires you to embrace the smallest thing and see it as a gift.

She pours out parts of her life and how she got through every moment. She has weaved scripture through the book to really embrace God and she has a gift with words. She teaches us how to take a deep breth and breath in to all the blessings that God surrounds us with every single day.

It has helped me to focus everyday on Gods little gifts so that I may see Him daily. She has reminded us how to reconnect with God. We as moms are so caught up in “life” that the lines to God has gotten tangled.  She shares with us how she discovered God in the midst of this life with children, all by teaching us how to take the time to write down all that God has given us in the moment. WOW!

I have been forever changed by One Thousand Gifts because being grateful brings me into the presence of God. I can find a blessing in hanging out with my 9 year old son, driving down the road, doing dishes, fold laundry, cleaning bathrooms. By stepping into Gods presence daily it helps me to stay focused and not sweat the small things. With out God every moment can turn into a deaster and me questioning, a place I do not want to be. When I am grateful the world looks so awesome through Gods eyes and worth every moment in taking our time not to sweat the small stuff.

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experince life and the world” Sarah Ban Beathnach

The greatest reminder we can encounter is that God is with us, right in our mess. I an thankful that I can now see Him in everything when I take time out to notice.

Having the journal was a great part of this jouney. Each page shares a little of Gods love through scipture and pictures for writing down each day of thanksgiving. Looking back on what God has given you is the best part in take this journey!

Regina thank you dearly for letting me review this book and journal, it was truly a blessing.
