I am SO excited that Friday has come so that I can share with you a new eBook by Darlene Schacht from Time-Warp Wife called The Good Wife’s Guide with a foreword by Candace Cameron Bure.

When Darlene from Time-Warp Wife contacted and ask me if I would review this book I will say that I was very excited. I am all about learning more and more about being a GOOD wife. I have followed Darlene around every since I have been blogging because of her wise wisdom she has to share.

The thing that I love about Darlene, even though we have never met in person, she is the real deal. Her passion in sharing Gods truth brings me to boldness in sharing as well. She has amazing ways with words and really can get to the core of your heart.

This book really does give you another look inside of Darlene in what God is doing through her, to help us to become good wives/moms. I love that she weaves her own personal stories to really help us to grab what she is sharing.

No matter what season of life the Lord has you in {single, newlywed, married} you can grab much wisdom and scripture from this book. Darlene takes the time to hit every kind of topic that we as wives/moms struggle with and backs them up with scripture. Topics you will find are defining Biblical submission, time management, honoring our husbands, being domestically challenged, selfishness finding rest so that we are able to serve.

The one thing you wont find in this book is worldly views, you will find a life that God intended us to live joyfully serving our husbands/children.  Darlene encourages us to look past what the culture is telling us and embrace what God has planned for our lives as wives/moms.

The second part of the book I NEEDED the most, it tackles organizing our homes, creating a housekeeping schedule,  deep cleaning schedule through out the home and so much more.

I know this book helped me to look at what Gods plan is for us as wives/moms not the worlds. It is crazy out there and the world is truly trying to take Gods ways and twist them up. Taking a stand and knowing that God is who we please I believe we can embrace our rolls as wives/moms seriously just as Darlene has laid out for us through this amazing eBook in being a “Help Meet”!

Here is a little bit about Darlene:
