Cultivating a Heart that Forgives!forgive3_thumb1

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit” Psalm 51: 10-12

For most of us forgiving does not come easy. I mean feelings inside that we thought were left at the cross, surfaces and feelings of hurt overwhelm us. It feels uncomfortable and instead of dealing with those feelings, we tend to hide behind them.

Cultivating a heart that forgives starts at home with our families that hurt us the most. How many times as moms do we get our feelings hurt and most of all, feel more unloved, then from our family?

Head on over to Our Simple Country Life for the rest of this post as I’m guest posting today in the “Series Heart & Home Clean Sweep” for Day 3 as I talk about A Forgiving Heart of a Homemaker.
