Good morning sweet sisters! I pray that your week has gotten off to a blessed start. My son who has been a prodigal for 4 years came home this past Thursday, Praise the Lord, and I had step up my game to show him Jesus.

Though I love to cook I do find myself grabbing the paper plates instead of grabbing our good dishes because that will require more cleaning on my part. I am embarrassed to share this with you but some times I do feel like this.

Since my son has been home I have taken the time out to set the table with our good dishes and  make the table very inviting. Sharing with him how it feels to sit at the table with Jesus. I will tell you, it truly has been such humbling. Doing everything as doing it unto the Lord, that truly brings joy to my heart.

We are on Day 6, following right behind God. He truly is amazing to watch when you have your full trust in Him.

Our sweet Katie from Dashing Dish is sharing for {Recipe Corner} today with her famous “Cake Batter Protein Shake”.

Cake Batter Protein Shake


1. Put everything into a blender and blend until creamy consistency is reached!

Top with sprinkles if desired, and Enjoy!


• 1/2 cup Low fat cottage cheese

• 1 Scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Designer Whey Protein powder)

• 3-5 Drops almond extract or butter extract

• 1 tbs vanilla sugar free instant pudding mix OR 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

• 3-5 Stevia packets (or sweetener of choice to taste)

• 1/2 cup-1cupWater (Alter this according to desired consistency)

• 5-10 Ice Cubes (Depending on how thick you like it, use less for a thinner consistency)

• Optional: Sprinkles for topping!

Nutrition/Servings: Servings: 1 Shake 187 Calories 4 WWP+
