When I think about all the things that did NOT go right in our homeschool last year, which was our first year by the way, I truly have to LAUGH out LOUD!

Its like having a baby and trying to walk before you crawl!

Do you know what I am referring to?

There were a lot of ups and downs and learning our style. In the end, God was the one in control and once He took over, hearts started to change, things started to come together!

Here is my Top 10 NO NO’s in our Homeschool:

1. Staying in my pjs all day is a NO NO!

It really makes you tired and when your children want to take a break you are more inclined to say YES!

2. Letting my child sleep until they wake up is a NO NO!

A child being a hard sleeper runs the risk of not getting your day started till noon!

3. Letting my child eat all day long is a NO NO!

Having boys, they carry around a bottomless pit which means eating is a detour from school work!

4. Not understanding the underline words of my child is a NO NO!

When the words “I need to go to bathroom” turns into sending out a search party and being found in the lego box!

5. Scheduling SCHOOL when daddy is home is a NO NO!

Having dad at home is a sure day not to get a thing done so why try!

Ok YOUR TURN sisters! What are some NO NO’s in your homeschool?
